The wind moves things, and that is not the problem
Several August reviews describe a trip cancelled or rerouted for weather. The ones who were told early and offered an alternative still rated it well; the poor ratings come from short notice, not from the change itself.
Solo travellers read these boats differently
On the catamarans, two travellers say plainly that a boat anchored in one bay suits a couple or a group better than someone on their own. If you want to keep moving instead, the rigid inflatable out of Cala Figuera and the jet boat off Magaluf never really stop.
Parking and meeting points cost people their trip
Reviews on three separate boats mention tight parking or a marina gate that took longer to find than expected, and two operators state that the boat leaves on time regardless. Add twenty minutes.
